Little Life Director (Birth-Pre K)

Little Life is our ministry for newborns up to Pre-Kindergarten and includes both Baby Life (Crawlers) and Little Life (Toddlers.) The director of this ministry is responsible for managing our weekly services and events where Little Life is available, training and scheduling team members, assisting with all Kids Life campus events, and more. Requirements

  • High School Degree or higher education.
  • Preferred 2+ years of Early Childhood Education or experience.
  • Passion for children and families.
  • Passion for the local church and outreach.
  • Strong leadership experience or skills.
  • High-level of excellence and attention to detail.
  • Loves Great Life Church, its vision, and ministerial leadership
  • Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, fun, faith environment for little ones so parents can be fully present in the main services. 
  • Oversee and organize the Little Life ministry.
  • Follow and implement the Little Life facility standards on campus.
  • Work closely with the Kids Life Pastor to analyze effectiveness of programming and adjust as needed.
  • Lead, build, schedule, and grow teams to execute all aspects of the Little Life ministry for weekend & midweek services.
  • Consistent weekly communication with key leaders and parents.
  • Oversee communications with new and expecting mothers in the church.
  • Oversee Nursing Mother's Room operations, use, and cleanliness. 
  • Develop healthy community among parents to encourage spiritual growth in their children. 
  • Help develop and maintain all security standards including updating handbooks, procedures, etc. 
  • Track growth for future development.
  • Seek opportunities to connect within local schools and communities.
  • Oversee implementation of Sunday and Wednesday services for all children.
  • Help in development of ministry events including Spring Fest, Summer Camp, Christmas Events, Harvest Fest, etc. working closely with the Kids Life teams. 
  • Create service outlines on Planning Center
  • Conduct training meets with our Kids Life Pastor and teams. 
  • Assist in Great Life Church community wide events for families in our community. 

Spiritual Development

  • Maintain the God ordained priorities in your life putting Jesus Christ at the center of everything including your spouse, children, and the ministry
  • Passionate about tithing at least 10% of your income to what God is doing through the vision of Great Life Church.
  • Avoid the appearance of evil, let no hint of immorality exist and conduct life with the utmost of integrity in all situations
  • Maintain loyalty to the vision and staff of Great Life Church.
