A little known Prophet by the name of Habakkuk penned some of the most powerful, and to me, life changing words.  In the third chapter and the seventeenth verse, we see one of the most dismal pictures ever painted upon the canvas of life, a picture of complete barrenness, no productivity, no hope.  It would seem that this was a time where there would be little reason to be optimistic about the future.

Of course, in that era, the economy was not driven so much by the dollar standard, but by the wealth of a persons fields, cattle, livestock, vineyards etc.  Today we would bring it up to date to say that our wealth is accumulated in houses, stocks, investments etc.  Either way, it looked really bad at that time.  We could relate to it by reflecting on the past several years here in America.  From 2007 through to 2015, many were hit very hard with an economic downturn that eventually caused people to lose their homes, business's and retirement plans.

If we were to stop reading at the 17th verse, I'm sure we would find ourselves in a state of despondency, discouraged and wondering if it was even worth going on, but God never leaves us there, and He never leaves us alone.  In spite of all that was going on around him, the prophet declares "I will rejoice in the Lord."  At a moment when everything in your life seems to be going wrong, the only way out is through your praise.  In a moment, God can turn your entire bleak outlook into a victorious victory because you decided that rather than living under the conditions, you choose to praise God in spite of them.

Praise is your way out!  It is the only thing in your life that can change everything in a moment of time.  The Psalmist said, "bless the Lord, oh my soul and ALL that is within me."  David in II Samuel 6:14 danced before the Lord with "ALL HIS MIGHT."  Have you ever done anything with "all your might?"  Few of us ever put our all into everything, but if we are to see victory instead of defeat, it's going to take that "all your might" praise to win!  Luke 10:27 instructs us to love God with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength and all our might, so praise is not just a spiritual experience it is also a physical experience, as you can see when David danced, lept, and praised his way into the heart of God.  When you learn to praise God that way, there will be nothing that He will withhold from you.

The next words I am going to share with you are to me, the most powerful words you will ever need in your life.  If you will learn to praise your God with everything you have, even when your vineyards are without grapes, and your fields are without livestock, and your stalls are empty and your fruit trees are baring no fruit, then, EVERY STRONGHOLD of the enemy will be broken.  Everything that the enemy has tried to hold back from your life, will be released.  And it won't take months, not even weeks or days, it will happen IN A MOMENT!  As you will read in Habakkuk 3:18 & 19, the Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my “high places” [of challenge and responsibility].

All battles are winnable, all diseases are curable, all problems are solvable, not over long periods of time, but in a moment, when we access that place in God where He will say, you have praised your way into my heart, all that I have is thine.  Your VICTORY is in your PRAISE!
